Ramadan and Eid

Ramadan is on the corner.. Two weeks left and the beautiful days will finally start.

I love Ramadan because there are lots of things that makes me happy.
The first thing is my family gathering at Al- Iftar (the time when all the family members are waiting for Azan Al-Maghreb to break the fast), and while waiting my father makes Doaa for Muslims, ourselves and people.

I like to go to Al-Taraweeh prayer, (the extra prayers performed by Muslims at night- after ‘Ishaa prayer, during the month of Ramadan). All people gather to pray them in the Masjid before Allah the Almighty.

And the loveliest thing is the gift that Allah gives us after Ramadan; Eid Al Fitr. And of course we all have our breakfast in the morning together- as it’s forbidden to fast in first day of Eid.

All my uncles and their sons come to visit us and we all have a beautiful gathering eating eid sweets that we usually prepare. This happens in the first two days of Eid. The third day of the eid holiday I used to go to Amusement Park and play with my siblings and have a lot of fun.
In the fourth day, we visit our grandmothers and some of our relatives.

Every Ramadan is beautiful and special, but this Ramadan will be different for me, because my final exams of my last year at school will be in Ramadan.

Wish me luck ☺

This is a short video (3:33 mnts) about Ramadan and Eid, it is very nice and very easy to understand. What is Ramadan?
